Rudisill was the Cougars’ special teams coordinator and linebackers coach the past three seasons. Before that, he was the defensive coordinator at Booker T Washington in Houston.
He is a Hendersonville graduate who played linebacker from 2011 to 2015. In his senior season, Rudisill made 78 total tackles with seven for a loss and three sacks while guiding the Bearcats to a 7-5 record.
He will be tasked with helping East Henderson end a 16-game losing streak.
With East Henderson hiring Rudisill, every WNC football coach vacancy from this offseason has been filled.
