Following an impressive freshman campaign, Baylor wing Tounde Yessoufou announced on social media (Instagram link) that he is entering the 2026 NBA Draft.
While some players in his position choose to test the process and retain NCAA eligibility, his statement didn’t mention that option, suggesting he is fully committed to turning pro.
Yessoufou, 19, stepped into a starting role right away for the Bears during the 2025/26 season and produced solid numbers, averaging 17.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.6 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.
The 6’5″ guard/forward attempted 5.3 three-pointers per contest, though he connected on just 29.3% of them.
Still, his physical profile and “flashes of shot-making” make him an appealing prospect at the next level, according to Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report.
In Wasserman’s latest mock draft, Yessoufou is projected to be selected 34th overall, while ESPN’s Jeremy Woo currently ranks him 40th among this year’s top prospects.
With a strong showing during the pre-draft process, the 19-year-old could work his way into first-round consideration.
