Georgia transfer guard commits to Tennessee basketball

Tennessee received its fifth transfer basketball commitment following the 2025-26 season. Georgia guard Rylie Theuerkauf committed to the Lady Vols on Tuesday, according to Talia Goodman of On3.

The 5-foot-9 guard transferred to the Bulldogs from Wake Forest ahead of the 2025-26 season. She appeared in 32 games, including 31 starts, and averaged 11.9 points, two rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest at Georgia.

During her three-year career at Georgia and Wake Forest, Theuerkauf appeared in 91 games (57 starts). She has totaled 843 points, 139 rebounds, 86 assists, 58 steals and 10 blocks. Theuerkauf has also converted 272-of-685 field goal attempts, 124-of-365 three-point attempts and 175-of-212 free throw attempts.

She joins Liberty guard Avery Mills, Northern Arizona guard Naomi White, Stanford forward Harper Peterson and Georgia forward Zhen Craft as Tennessee’s transfer portal commitments following the 2025-26 season.

The 2026-27 season will be the third for the Lady Vols under head coach Kim Caldwell.

In two seasons as Tennessee’s head coach, she has complied a 40–24 (16-16 SEC) record and appeared in two NCAA Tournaments, including the 2025 Sweet 16.
