Washington football to host former Michigan OL commit on visit

The Washington Huskies have put themselves in a strong position with several of their top targets along the offensive line in the 2027 class, but that hasn’t stopped Jedd Fisch and offensive line coach Michael Switzer from pursuing more.

The Huskies are set to host three-star offensive lineman Tristan Dare, a former Michigan commit, for an unofficial visit over the weekend. The 6-foot-3, 290-pound product of Southlake Carroll High School in Texas originally committed to coach Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines in August 2025, before backing off in late March.

Now, Dare, who is ranked as the No. 46 interior offensive lineman and No. 756 overall player in the 2027 class and holds 34 offers, appears to be considering all his options. Arizona State, Florida, Ole Miss, Penn State, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin are all among the interested parties, and he recently took an unofficial visit to Missouri to check in on what coach Eli Drinkwitz is building.
