It has been a very eventful offseason for Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham.
The biggest development in her basketball career involves her decision to remain with the Fever for 2026. This is after the 6-foot-1 guard signed a one-year contract with the team for the upcoming season.

Cunningham has also been busy with her commitments outside basketball. The 29-year-old recently headlined a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue with fellow WNBA star Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx.
On top of that, Cunningham recently announced that she is joining USA Network as a special guest broadcaster for the upcoming WNBA season.
Right now, though, Cunningham is locked in with the Fever. She joined the rest of the squad on Sunday for the first day of training camp. The Fever have officially gotten their preparations underway ahead of their season-opener against the Dallas Wings on May 9.

Cunningham took to social media on Sunday to share some snaps of her life lately. This included some new photos from her SI Swimsuit shoot.
What caught the attention of Fever teammate Lexie Hull, however, was Cunningham’s video with her donkey and dog. Cunningham was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, where she grew up around animals on her family’s farm.
“obsessed with the last slide. when can I meet them,” Hull commented, referencing Cunningham’s animal companions.

Cunningham responded to Hull by laying out her big plans for the entire Fever squad.
“@lexiehulll team trip to the farm? 👀” she asked.
The Fever currently have 16 players on its training camp roster. Cunningham might want to invite Stephanie White and her coaching staff as well, which would make it a major logistical challenge to bring the entire team to her farm in Missouri. Either way, Cunningham has extended the invite.
The Fever have less than three weeks left before the new season starts. They also play their first preseason game on Saturday.

At this point, Cunningham might need to push back on this ambitious trip. Perhaps a mid-season team-building excursion could be an option?
