New Zealand captain Tom Latham chose to field against Bangladesh in the third ODI in Chattogram. Latham had won the toss in the first two games as well, opting to bat first.
The visitors have brought in left-arm quick Ben Lister, dropping Blair Tickner. The home side meanwhile made two changes. They have dropped Rishad Hossain and Taskin Ahmed, in favour of Mustafizur Rahman and Tanvir Islam.
New Zealand won the first game of the series by 26 runs, with Dean Foxcroft turning in a strong allround showing, while Tickner and Nathan Smith sharing seven wickets between them. The home side looked out of sorts in the middle order, as they had a middle overs collapse that costing them the match. In the second ODI, Bangladesh burst back into contention with Nahid Rana’s 5-32, and then Tanzid Hasan’s breezy half-century set the course for an easy 199-run chase.
The two teams will play the third ODI and the first two T20Is in Chattogram, before heading back to Dhaka to play the third T20I on May 2.
