244 – The target that Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) chased down, was the fourth highest in IPL history, and the highest in any T20 match at the Wankhede. It’s the second-best for SRH, next to the 246 they chased down against Punjab Kings (PBKS) last year. In fact, three of the top five chases have happened this season, and each of those five have been by either PBKS or SRH.
32 – Sixes in the game on Wednesday, the highest ever in an IPL game at the Wankhede. There has only been one instance of more sixes in any T20 game here, and that was in an international match last month, when the India-England contest produced 34 sixes. It’s the joint second-most for this IPL season, though: there were 33 sixes in the match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and PBKS, and 32 in PBKS vs LSG.
170 – Runs scored in the powerplays across both innings on Wednesday – 92 by SRH and 78 by Mumbai Indians. Only once has more runs been scored in this phase in any T20 at the Wankhede: in a T20 World Cup match in 2016 between England and South Africa, when 172 runs were scored. There was another IPL match, in 2014, between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab, when 170 were scored in the powerplays.

MI vs SRH, IPL 2026 – Heinrich Klaasen is navigating innings with youngsters, says Mitch McClenaghan
Saba Karim says the SRH batter counterattacked at the right time
92 – Runs conceded by MI in the powerplay, the joint-most they have leaked in an IPL game. They had also leaked 92 against DC in 2024.
However, it’s only the fifth-highest team total in the powerplay in IPL 2026. The highest is PBKS’ 116 versus DC, while SRH themselves got 105 against PBKS.
54 – Runs conceded by Jasprit Bumrah in his four overs. Only three times has he gone for more in any T20 game, two of which were in the IPL – 56 against CSK in 2021 and 55 against Delhi Daredevils in 2015 – but his worst was also in 2026, when he leaked 58 against New Zealand in Thiruvananthapuram. The five sixes he conceded is also his joint-worst – he had also conceded five against Daredevils in IPL 2015.
132 – Bumrah’s bowling average this IPL season – two wickets for 264 runs in 30 overs – which is the worst among all instances of bowlers who have bowled at least 25 overs in an IPL season.
243 – MI’s total, their highest when batting first. Their two higher totals – 247 and 246 – had both come in unsuccessful chases. The loss against SRH means MI’s three highest totals have all come in defeats.
123 – Ryan Rickelton’s score against SRH is the highest by an MI batter, going past Sanath’s Jayasuriya’s unbeaten 114 way back in IPL’s inaugural season. The next best for MI is also by a left-hand opener: Quinton de Kock’s unbeaten 112 against PBKS a couple of weeks back.
100 – IPL wins for SRH (including Super Over wins). They are the eighth team to achieve this feat.
