Yes, apparently, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is still around.
In fact, it was on the red carpet Saturday at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner where it bumped into UFC CEO Dana White. The skit was recorded for Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” with Trevor Noah.
Triumph hit White with a series of jokes, roasting president Donald Trump, FBI director Kash Patel, and defense secretary Pete Hegseth.
White was a good sport and seemed to get a kick out of the jokes, particularly the one where Triumph handed him a roll of tickets, saying they were Hegseth’s drinks.
Others who fell victim to Triumph’s awkward skit included secretary of state Marco Rubio, Fox News’ Peter Doocy and Jimmy Failla, CNN’s Sara Sidner, transportation secretary Sean Duffy, television presenter Mehmet Oz, homeland security secretary (and former pro MMA fighter) Markwayne Mullin, and actress Cheryl Hines.
