Atlanta defeated Chicago, 87-78, on Wednesday at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The matchup was a preseason WNBA game.

Former Lady Vol Rickea Jackson started for the Sky and played 22 minutes. She totaled nine points, three rebounds and one assist. Jackson converted 2-of-10 field goal attempts and 5-of-5 free throw attempts.

Angel Reese started for the Dream and played 13 points. She scored eight points and totaled seven rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Jackson is in her first season with Chicago. She was traded to the Sky from Los Angeles for Ariel Atkins on April 12.

Jackson was selected by the Sparks in the 2024 WNBA draft (No. 4 overall). She played at Tennessee from 2022-24 after transferring from Mississippi State.

The former Lady Vol averaged 20.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game during the 2023-24 season. She earned USA TODAY Sports Network All-SEC First-Team honors two times.
