Lynch received significant interest among the Power Four ranks, holding offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Maryland, Syracuse, and Wake Forest, among others. As of right now, he does still have an official visit planned to Cincinnati for over the summer, but he is expected to shut that down in the coming days. His official visit to Rutgers is set for Friday, June 5th.
Rutgers running backs coach Damiere Shaw has proven himself to be a valuable asset at his craft, as he helped former Rutgers running back Kyle Monangai break out to become one of the best running backs in the Big Ten before following it up by doing the same thing with his successor, Antwan Raymond. With the addition of Lynch to the room, Shaw will have another talented player to help mold as he sees fit.
