Both Bennett Durando of The Denver Post and Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette have raised the possibility that Jamal Murray could emerge as a trade option for the Denver Nuggets this offseason.

Murray is coming off the strongest regular season of his career and is expected to earn his first All-NBA selection, but his performances against top-tier defenses in the last two playoffs have drawn scrutiny.

Despite that, Nikola Jokic made it clear he still believes in their partnership, according to Durando.

“I mean, I think we are still good,” Jokic said. “I think we created the looks. Sometimes you need to make it. I think a miss doesn’t make you a bad player, and misses don’t make you a bad decision-maker.

“It’s a miss-or-make league. So we couldn’t make any shots. … I’m confident in my and Jamal’s two-man game.”

Murray has played 9 seasons for the Nuggets. He has averaged 18.9 points, 5.0 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 611 regular-season games.

He has won 1 NBA championship.
