Jonquel Jones had 15 points to lead the New York Liberty to a 79-67 preseason win over the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Sunday night.
Former UConn Huskies women’s basketball star Breanna Stewart added four points and six rebounds for the Liberty. Olivia Nelson-Ododa had nine points and four rebounds for the Sun while Aaliyah Edwards sat out with a left thigh injury.
