
BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball added guard depth for next season on Tuesday afternoon, with the commitment of Maryland-Eastern Shore transfer guard Justin Monden.
A senior for the Hoosiers in 2026-27, Monden appeared in 30 games for the Hawks last season, starting one. He averaged 6 points and 1.6 assists per game. Monden is originally from North Carolina.

IndyStar confirmed Monden’s commitment Tuesday.
Monden joins a completely remade backcourt that’s expected to be anchored by fellow transfers Markus Burton (Notre Dame), Bryce Lindsay (Villanova) and Jaeden Mustaf (Georgia Tech) next season.
