Shai Gilgeous-Alexander captured his second consecutive NBA MVP award in dominant fashion, finishing with 939 total points and 83 first-place votes after leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to 64 wins.

The Thunder superstar also received 13 second-place votes, three third-place votes, and one fourth-place vote.

Nikola Jokic finished second with 634 points for the Denver Nuggets. Jokic collected 10 first-place votes, 48 second-place votes, 37 third-place votes, four fourth-place votes, and one fifth-place vote.

Victor Wembanyama placed third after a historic season with the San Antonio Spurs. The French superstar earned five first-place votes, 36 second-place votes, 47 third-place votes, 10 fourth-place votes, and two fifth-place votes for a total of 569 points.

Luka Doncic finished fourth with 250 points in his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Doncic received one second-place vote, eight third-place votes, 60 fourth-place votes, and 25 fifth-place votes.

Cade Cunningham rounded out the top five with 117 points for the Detroit Pistons, earning two first-place votes, one second-place vote, three third-place votes, 11 fourth-place votes, and 42 fifth-place votes.

Jaylen Brown finished sixth with 89 points after receiving one second-place vote, two third-place votes, 14 fourth-place votes, and 30 fifth-place votes for the Boston Celtics.

Kawhi Leonard and Donovan Mitchell each received one fifth-place vote.
