Song Yadong’s arguably best finish in the UFC came when he faced former WSOF champion Marlon Moraes.
Back in 2022, Song got a big step up in competition when he was matched up with Moraes, who not only was a champion from WSOF but had already challenged for the UFC belt. Song had no problem with the challenge. He walked down the Brazilian and knocked him out with an uppercut in the first round. It was a finish that earned the Chinese fighter a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

Song (22-9-1 MMA, 11-4-1 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night 277 (Paramount+) – which takes place at Galaxy Macau in China. He takes on former UFC champion Deiveson Figueiredo (25-6-1 MMA, 14-6-1 UFC) in a five-round bantamweight bout.
