After another dramatic race in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series with Richard Childress Racing at Nashville, popular YouTuber Cleetus McFarland (real name Garrett Mitchell) is getting back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Truck for the first time since his Daytoan debut in February.

Cleetus returns to the third of the three national levels of NASCAR this weekend at the two-mile Michigan International Speedway –– the biggest non-superspeedway oval he has ever taken on.

His Daytona debut with Niece lasted just six laps before losing control at the exit of Turn 4 and crashing out of the event, finishing 37th (last).

Driving the No. 4 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet, he will of course be aiming to improve on that showing this weekend in Michigan. He will have several teammates to lean on, including Cup star Ross Chastain, who will be back behind the wheel of the No. 45 Niece entry.

The team has unveiled Cleetus’ paint scheme for his next Truck start, and there is a giant bald eagle adoring the door of his Silverado. He will have sponsorship from Comprehensive Logistics and Circle B Diecasts on his red/white/blue truck.
