Clemson football’s recruiting class has taken off over the last two weeks, and the Tigers are now seeing the results in the national rankings
After adding another wave of commitments on Monday, Clemson climbed to No. 6 nationally in the 2027 team recruiting rankings according to 247Sports. The Tigers also sit at No. 12 in the industry rankings compiled by On3 and Rivals, a significant jump after one of the most productive stretches of recruiting in recent memory.

Clemson entered June with momentum, but the last two weeks have completely reshaped the class. The Tigers have landed 12 commitments during that span, bringing the total number of pledges in the 2027 class to 19.
Monday’s activity provided another major boost.
The day began with a commitment from tight end Nicholas Pollack, a prospect from North Oconee High School in Georgia. Pollack, the son of former Georgia standout and college football analyst David Pollack, chose Clemson shortly after receiving an offer from the Tigers. He became the second tight end commitment in the class and added another talented playmaker to an already impressive offensive group.
Later in the day, Clemson picked up a commitment from four-star offensive tackle J.J. Brown of Parkview High School in Georgia. Brown had originally planned to announce his decision later this month but moved up his timeline after his official visit to Clemson. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound lineman selected the Tigers over several major programs, including Georgia, Florida State, Florida, Auburn and Kentucky.

Brown’s pledge continued a strong run along the offensive line. He joined Luke Starcevic, Carter Jones and Elijah Morrison to give Clemson four offensive line commitments in the class.
The Tigers also added defensive end Desmond Malpress during this recent recruiting surge. The Florida standout is viewed as one of the top defensive additions in the class and gives Clemson another highly regarded pass-rushing prospect to build around.
With 19 commitments already in the fold and several months remaining before the early signing period, Clemson has positioned itself among the nation’s top recruiting classes. If the Tigers can maintain their current momentum, the class could continue climbing the rankings throughout the summer and into the fall.
