Here is something that fans are going to love to see, Brexton Busch was back in his Legends car at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday night. The Summer Shootout is coming up, and young drivers are preparing for the intense competition.
Kyle Busch was the crew chief and dad that Brexton Busch learned from ever since he started racing. At 11 years old, he has gone through a tragedy that seemed unimaginable before it happened. To see him back on the track and making laps is inspiring and, quite frankly, a powerful moment.

Charlotte Motor Speedway shared pictures from Tuesday’s runs. The ServPro 19 was on track. Keelan Harvick also made an appearance.
The NASCAR world came together at Charlotte Motor Speedway just days after the death of Kyle Busch. Brexton and the entire Busch family showed great strength and poise in the face of this unbelievable tragedy. Now, it is back to the race track, which hopefully provides some kind of normalcy for the young racer.
Brexton is a very talented driver. Last year, he was a Legend Car national champion. He will be racing plenty in the Summer Shootout, and there will possibly be some NASCAR drivers coming down to race in the Legend cars as well.

Drivers like Bubba Wallace and Shane van Gisbergen raced in the Shootout last year. If SVG’s oval performances lately are any indication, maybe the Legend cars at Charlotte help more than people think.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Busch family. Hopefully, Brexton finds a little solace and peace behind the wheel as he tries to continue on with life as normal.
