After showing promising flashes during his rookie season, Rasheer Fleming is entering the offseason focused on expanding every part of his game and building on the foundation he established in 2025/26.

Speaking with Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, the Suns forward said his primary goal is continued development rather than targeting any specific role.

“Just keep progressing on my game,” Fleming said. “Overall, just working on different areas of my game. My shot. Handle. Making reads. Slowing down. Just everything overall for me. The defense is going to keep progressing. Just working on a little bit of everything.”

While Fleming acknowledged that earning a starting spot would be an opportunity he’d welcome, his attention remains centered on becoming a more complete player.

The former No. 31 overall pick is focused on improving his offensive skill set, decision-making, and overall consistency as he prepares for his second NBA season.

Fleming also confirmed that he plans to participate in Summer League, viewing it as an important chance to apply the experience he gained during his rookie campaign.

“It’s going to be really good,” Fleming said. “Especially having those NBA reps now. I’m excited. It’s going to be fun. Last year, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I didn’t play much, but this year, it’s going to be really good.”
