Clemson football’s recruiting efforts for the 2028 class picked up steam again on Wednesday as the Tigers continued to cast a wide net across the country.

The biggest development was an offer to a highly touted 5-star prospect, but Clemson also made sure to strengthen its presence with several offensive linemen who have quickly become national recruiting targets.

One of those new targets is Alabama native Joey Fleming. The 6-foot-5 tackle is already viewed as one of the top players in the 2028 cycle and has no shortage of major programs pursuing him. Clemson joined a lengthy list of contenders that already includes schools like Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State and Tennessee. Recruiting services have Fleming ranked among the best offensive linemen in the country, making him one of the more notable additions to Clemson’s board this week.

The Tigers also extended an offer to Florida standout Jackson Snelling. His recruitment has taken off over the last several months, with programs from both the ACC and SEC jumping into the mix. At 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Snelling has become one of the more intriguing young offensive line prospects in the Southeast.

Another offer went to Georgia’s Sam Walker, a lineman who has been gaining attention from some of college football’s biggest brands. Walker already holds offers from a long list of national powers and is regarded as one of the top interior offensive line prospects in his class.
