Dricus Du Plessis returns for his first fight since losing the middleweight title to take on former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

It was his first loss under the UFC banner, snapping an 11-fight winning streak. Du Plessis won the title by defeating Sean Strickland at UFC 297 and notched two title defenses.

Usman (21-4 MMA, 16-3 UFC) returns to the middleweight division to take on the former champ. His last appearance was a main event win against Joaquin Buckley last June in a welterweight bout. In the fight prior, he dropped a short-notice majority decision to Chimaev at 185 pounds.
