The WNBA put together a 30th anniversary poster, featuring players from the current league.

Caitlin Clark wasn’t on it.
How is that even possible? There are plenty of questions to be asked.
But what the WNBA didn’t do was shun Angel Reese. She’s on there representing the Atlanta Dream, over a star like Rhyne Howard.
Here’s how it looks:
The Fever, amazingly, weren’t represented by Kelsey Mitchell or Aliyah Boston, either.
Sophie Cunningham, who spends most Fever games coming off the bench, got the spot on the poster for Indiana.
“I’m blown away by the exclusion of Caitlin Clark,” Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer wrote in a post on X. “This is like fans of an indie band not wanting it to go mainstream.”

This is an odd step in the Reese-Clark rivalry, one that on the court has pretty much sided with Clark over the past few years.
Somehow, though, at odd intervals the WNBA and some of its veteran or retired players don’t seem to like Clark.
She’s been so big to the league’s rise — as has Reese, to a lesser extent.
But on this poster, Clark is nowhere to be found. Reese is there. Cunningham even. But not Caitlin Clark.
