Indiana Fever Rookie Raven Johnson Reacts to Kelsey Mitchell’s New Shoe Deal

Kelsey Mitchell is having another big year with the Indiana Fever this 2026 season. She’s averaging 21.6 points on an efficient 49.5% shooting from the field, along with 1.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

The Fever star is second in the league in scoring, behind only A’ja Wilson. She also recently became just the second player in franchise history to reach 5,000 points, joining WNBA legend Tamika Catchings.

Considering Mitchell’s success with Indiana, along with the Fever’s popularity, it’s not surprising that several brands want to partner with her.

That being said, sneaker brand Puma announced on Monday that it has signed Mitchell to a shoe deal. The Fever scorer is set to join the Hali franchise, headed by Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, who signed a signature shoe deal with the brand in 2024.

“You family now,” Puma wrote in its announcement, along with a video of Mitchell receiving a gift from Haliburton while they were on a phone call.

Naturally, the announcement drew plenty of attention, with Mitchell’s Fever teammates and WNBA peers celebrating the news.

Fever rookie Raven Johnson was among the players to comment on Puma’s post and show support for Mitchell.

Johnson was clearly hyped for the WNBA veteran, as she wrote, “Da [GOAT].”
