Xavier men’s basketball has added another high-major opponent to its 2026-27 non-conference schedule.
According to Alex Rosinski, Xavier will play Mississippi State in a neutral-site contest at the Greenbrier Resort on Friday, Nov. 13.

The Greenbrier Resort is located in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Over the last two seasons, it has hosted the Greenbrier Tip-Off at Colonial Hall inside the resort.

Xavier’s full non-conference schedule should be released this summer. The Musketeers’ high-major opponents in the non-conference schedule now include Mississippi State (neutral) and Iowa at Cintas Center along with Texas A&M and Virginia in the 2026 Battle 4 Atlantis.

Xavier will also play UC in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout at Fifth Third Arena on Saturday, Dec. 5. As of now, that is Xavier’s lone true road game on the non-conference schedule.
Xavier will host Mount St. Mary’s in the season-opener at Cintas Center on Monday, Nov. 2.
