Former PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira has found a new home.
Ferreira (13-6) meets Khusein Adamov (14-3) in the UAE Warriors 72 co-main event on July 23 at the Space 42 Arena in Abu Dhabi. It streams on UFC Fight Pass. A person with knowledge of the situation informed MMA Junkie of the news Tuesday but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Ferreira, the 2023 PFL heavyweight season winner, will look to snap a three-fight losing skid, which started with a knockout loss to Francis Ngannou in October 2024. He went on to get stopped by Vadim Nemkov and, most recently, Sergey Bilostenniy at PFL Sioux Falls in May.
The 36-year-old Brazilian hasn’t won a fight since finishing Ryan Bader in just 21 seconds in February 2024.
Adamov has finished 12 of his 14 professional wins. The Russian fighter is unbeaten in four of his past five fights and hasn’t competed since going to a split draw with Yerlan Shakishev for the Naiza FC heavyweight title in May 2025.
