Free agent forward Khris Middleton has agreed to a three-year, $17.6 million contract with the Washington Wizards in a sign-and-trade deal, according to ESPN.
The 14-year NBA veteran returns to Washington after spending parts of the previous two seasons with the franchise, where he provided leadership and championship experience to the young roster.
Middleton’s move is part of a massive six-team trade involving the Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, and Memphis Grizzlies.
The complex transaction also includes several previously reported deals, featuring players such as John Collins, Gary Harris, Taurean Prince, Isaiah Stewart, Santi Aldama, and Caris LeVert.
Dallas will send Middleton to Washington as part of the multi-team agreement.
