NASCAR heads to North Wilkesboro this weekend for the first Cup Series points-paying race at the track since 1996.
The Window World 450 Cup Series race on July 19 will feature the longest race on the 0.625-mile oval at 450 laps. Previous Cup races dating back to the 1980s and 1990s, including the final Cup points race in 1996, were 400 laps.

North Wilkesboro has been on the Cup schedule over the last couple years as the site of the All-Star Race, returning to the slate after more than 25 years’ absence.
The Craftsman Truck Series will also compete at North Wilkesboro, with the Faith Fest 250 on July 18.
