One of the most recognizable sights in NASCAR is getting a refresh.
Beginning with the 2027 season, Goodyear Racing will introduce updated sidewall branding on its Eagle racing tires, marking the first major visual redesign in years for the tires that have become synonymous with stock car racing.

The updated look will debut across Goodyear’s global racing program, but NASCAR fans will be among the first to notice the change when the Cup Series returns for the 2027 season.
NASCAR’s iconic Goodyear Eagle tires are getting a redesign
Goodyear announced the refreshed branding Friday, unveiling a new sidewall design that incorporates its recently introduced Goodyear and Eagle logos while celebrating more than 45 years of Eagle performance heritage in motorsports.
North Wilkesboro Speedway served as the backdrop for the announcement, an appropriate choice considering the historic short track was the site of Goodyear’s first NASCAR victory on Eagle radial tires.

While the performance of the tire itself is not changing, the refreshed branding gives NASCAR’s familiar racing tires a noticeably different appearance that fans will see on every car throughout the season.
According to Goodyear, the redesign reflects the company’s recently launched “Fast Is In Us” campaign while honoring decades of innovation in motorsports.
The change is about more than appearance
Goodyear says the updated artwork represents the next evolution of the Eagle brand rather than simply a cosmetic update.
“NASCAR has been the most important proving ground for Goodyear Eagles across the past four decades, helping build a legacy that continues to inspire drivers and fans alike,” Justin Fantozzi, Goodyear’s Director of Racing for the Americas, said.

“This new sidewall artwork celebrates that heritage while embracing the future of our brand. It amplifies the spirit of ‘Fast Is In Us,’ reflecting our passion for performance, our commitment to innovation and our ambition to keep pushing Goodyear Racing forward for generations to come.”
The new branding will appear across Goodyear’s global racing portfolio beginning in 2027, meaning NASCAR’s Cup, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Craftsman Truck Series competitors will all race on tires carrying the refreshed Eagle design.
For fans, it represents one of the most visible changes coming to NASCAR in 2027. While the racing product will remain the same, every car on the grid will roll onto the track with a fresh look that reflects Goodyear’s next chapter after decades as the sport’s exclusive tire supplier.
