Loopy Godinez has never had a career rematch, and she’d like to experience one starting in 2026.
Godinez, a contender in the UFC women’s strawweight division, would like to run things back with recent UFC title challenger Virna Jandiroba. Godinez (14-6 MMA, 9-6 UFC) lost to Jandiroba (23-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) back in 2024. The Mexican fighter lost a unanimous decision, which put an end to her four-fight winning streak at the time. Over two years later, Godinez is ready to settle the score.

“I would personally love to have a rematch against Jandiroba,” Godinez told Hablemos MMA in Spanish. “I think all the top contenders are already booked, so I would like to get a rematch against Jandiroba.”
Godinez not only has a name in mind but also a date and location. She’d like to be part of this year’s Noche UFC – which goes down on Sept. 12 in Glendale, Ariz. Both Godinez and Jandiroba haven’t fought since April.
“I would love to fight at Noche,” Godinez said. “The timing would be perfect. Fighting at Noche is incredible. I fought in the one the year before The Sphere, and to be honest, it was incredible. I loved the energy, and I honestly felt like I was in Mexico. The UFC did a great job with it.”
Godinez looks to get back in the win column. She last fought at UFC 327 in April, where she was submitted by former UFC title challenger Tatiana Suarez. The defeat snapped a two-fight winning streak for Godinez.
