Bucky McMillan and the Texas A&M basketball program have finalized their non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Aggies will play 15 non-conference games, including five against Power Four opponents and two against Big East programs.
They will play one exhibition before the season, heading to Dallas for a matchup with the SMU Mustangs on Oct. 25. They will then return home for their first five games of the year, opening the season against Alabama State on Nov. 3 in the Reed Arena.

The Aggies will take on Northern Kentucky and Louisiana Monroe before hosting Oklahoma State on Nov. 12 in their first test of the season. They will end the homestand against Southeastern Louisiana before heading to Fort Worth for a matchup with the TCU Horned Frogs on Nov. 19.
Texas A&M will then compete at the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas, playing Marquette and Xavier on Nov. 25 and 27, respectively. They will return to College Station for a game against the Stanford Cardinal as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge on Dec. 2.
They will follow up the game with a meeting against Arkansas Pine Bluff before heading to Houston to play the Florida State Seminoles on Dec. 12. They will close out their non-conference schedule against Holy Cross (Dec. 17), North Florida (Dec. 21), and Prairie View (Dec. 29), with all three games at home.
