Per Dushawn London of 247Sports, Duke Brennan could be on his way to becoming an Oregon Duck. Brennan is currently part of a group of players seeking a fifth year of eligibility, so this theoretical commitment would be contingent upon that.

Brennan was a revelation for the Wildcats last season, averaging 12.4 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest in what appears to be his first and only season with Villanova. The 6’10” big man exceeded all expectations while starting all 32 games.
As nice as it would be to have Brennan back, Villanova has objectively upgraded the frontcourt this season with both Italian big man Luigi Suigo and, ironically, Oregon’s Kwame Evans Jr. There simply wouldn’t be much playing time, or likely money, available for “Big Duke” on the 2026-27 roster.
it will be interesting to see how this lawsuit plays out, as there are a number of difference-makers looking to get another year of college basketball. It is unlikely that Kevin Willard will be a real contender for any of them.
