The East-West Shrine Bowl announced the Shriners’ 1,000 list of players to watch for the annual All-Star game that takes place after the end of the season this past week, and there are a slew of Ohio State players named. In fact, in total, the bowl identified 19 Buckeyes that have the potential to be a part of all the festivities at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
For the most part, the Shrine Bowl is for outgoing seniors who need to improve their NFL draft stock, so it’s not expected that potential high-draft picks take part and risk injury or negative results on the field. However, there are always those players who are undervalued and then come to the game and ball out. Here’s the list of 19 OSU players the Shrine Bowl identified. Not all will agree to take part in the game; it just all depends on how the season pans out and who needs to get extra time in front of NFL scouts and executives and put more game and practice film out there.

That’s a lot of players, but we probably will only see a few actually head out to Dallas. The East-West Shrine Bowl is set to take place on Feb. 4, 2027. We’ve got a whole college football season to look forward to before that.
