Mississippi football quarterback Trinidad Chambliss was voted first-team All-SEC by the conference’s media poll, the league announced Friday, July 24.
Chambliss was joined by Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy on the first team, as Ole Miss is set for one of the best backfield tandems in college football this season. Texas quarterback Arch Manning was selected to the All-SEC second-team by media.

Texas and LSU led all teams with four first-team All-SEC selections. Texas put receiver Cam Coleman, offensive lineman Trevor Goosby, defensive lineman Colin Simmons and linebacker Rasheem Biles, a transfer from Pittsburgh, on the list. LSU placed tight end Trey’Dez Green, offensive lineman Jordan Seaton, linebacker Whit Weeks and defensive lineman Princewill Umanmielen under first-year coach Lane Kiffin.
