NBA players have various playstyles in how they compete in every matchup, and trash-talking has been one of the ways ever since.
Speaking to Bleacher Report’s Top 50 trash talker list, Hall of Famer Larry Bird is listed as the number one trash talker of all-time, while Draymond Green placed in the ninth spot.
Green argued that trash talking was his role from defense to offense, where he always talks even though unnecessary, per The Draymond Green Show.
“This one I will argue, I think I’m above all these guys, ah man it’s defense, it’s offense, it’s 3-point… this is trash talking, and this is talking that s**t and that’s what I do, I talk that shit, so number 9 I think is a bit wild.”
The four-time champion has earned over 200 total technical fouls in his career, ranking among the top active and all-time leaders. He was seventh all-time in career technical fouls history.
