Lonnie Walker IV appears to be nearing the end of his stint with Maccabi Tel Aviv, as both the player and the club are reportedly working toward a mutual separation, according to Tomer Givati of Israel Hayom.
Among the teams interested in signing the 27-year-old guard, Partizan Belgrade is believed to be the frontrunner.
Dubai Basketball and Real Madrid have also been linked with Walker, with all three clubs set to compete in the EuroLeague next season.
Walker, the 18th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, spent the end of the 2024-25 season with the Philadelphia 76ers after previously playing for Zalgiris Kaunas and Maccabi over the past two years.
The veteran shooting guard reportedly met with several NBA teams during the Las Vegas Summer League before his July 15 opt-out deadline.
However, with no NBA opportunity materializing, his most realistic options now appear to be in Europe.
