ASVEL’s offseason overhaul continues to unravel, with Armoni Brooks now likely to follow Sylvain Francisco out the door as the club works through its financial problems.
Sources indicate the 28-year-old guard is attracting interest from multiple EuroLeague teams. Partizan has ended its pursuit, while Real Madrid is still monitoring the situation as a potential landing spot.
Brooks was one of several notable signings brought in this summer after ASVEL launched an ambitious rebuilding project featuring Francisco, Nick Weiler-Babb and other newcomers.
Those plans quickly changed, however, when the club failed to complete a crucial investment deal.
The financial setback reportedly forced ASVEL to slash its projected budget from €59 million to roughly €24 million, putting several offseason acquisitions at risk.
Francisco has already exited without making a single appearance, joining Panathinaikos after the Greek champions activated a €450,000 buyout clause.
