Fans in Northern California are wondering how the Giants are going to salvage the rest of the 2026 season, which has been a letdown. The orange and black faithful are on edge to see whether San Francisco can lure a franchise-altering player, or if their favorite Giant will be shipped elsewhere.

San Francisco has already made one move ahead of the deadline. The Giants traded veteran pitcher Tyler Mahle to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Anthony Molina, who was immediately sent to the Sacramento River Cats, the Giants’ Triple-A affiliate.

Mahle was one of the many names rumored to be on the move out of San Francisco. Others names heavily mentioned in trade talks include Luis Arraez, Rafael Devers and Heliot Ramos. They are the players in the Giants organization who could be dealt before Monday’s deadline.
