UFC Fight Night 283 took place Saturday in Belgrade, Serbia, featuring a welterweight main event between Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez. It was a stellar showing for Medic, who won by stoppage in the first round. Coming into the week, “The Doctor” was unranked, but now lands inside the top 15.
In the co-feature, Navajo Stirling made quick work of former champion Jan Blachowicz. Stirling was ranked No. 15 before the fight, and Blachowicz No. 7. In this week’s rankings update, Stirling jumps up to No. 8, while Blachowicz falls to No. 10.

PFL was also in action in New York state, where Usman Nurmagomedov defended his lightweight title by handing Archie Colgan the first loss of his career. Nurmagomedov maintains his No. 6 ranking at 155 pounds.
