The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a two-way contract with free agent guard Jalen Pickett, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Pickett, 26, spent the first three seasons of his NBA career with the Denver Nuggets after being selected 32nd overall in the 2023 NBA Draft.
His role increased over the past two seasons, and in 2025-26 he averaged 5.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 16.1 minutes across 50 appearances, including 18 starts.
The former Penn State standout has also proven to be a reliable perimeter shooter, connecting on 38.7% of his three-point attempts during his NBA career.
Denver declined its team option for the 2026-27 season and did not extend a qualifying offer, making Pickett an unrestricted free agent.
He is now expected to occupy one of the Clippers’ two-way roster spots.
Under the agreement, Pickett can appear in up to 50 regular-season games and earn as much as $678,882 before becoming a free agent again in 2027.
