Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is holding a special pre-fight media day this afternoon (Weds., Aug. 5, 2026) for the upcoming UFC Vegas 120: “Gamrot vs. Salkilld” mixed martial arts (MMA) event on Paramount+, scheduled for this Sat. night (Aug. 8) inside the promotion’s Meta Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mateusz Gamrot – No. 8 UFC lightweight
Quillan Salkilld – No. 12 UFC lightweight
Diego Ferreira – UFC lightweight

Gamrot expects to be “immortal” with the presence of teammate Dustin Poirier.
“[Poirier brings] energy, crazy energy, every day attitude,” Gamrot told Full Send MMA. “He texted me and said he wants to come to my fight this Saturday in Las Vegas. I texted him back, ‘Bro, if you come, you give me 100% more power.’ If Dustin comes to this fight, I’ll be immortal.”
