Joe Gibbs Racing swept the first two spots at the Iowa Corn 350 on Aug. 9, showing Toyota’s dominance once again this NASCAR Cup season.
Ty Gibbs held off Christopher Bell for his second win of the 2026 NASCAR season and kept Bell winless despite multiple second-place finishes. Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin, the series points leader, was fifth.

Gibbs, the grandson of team owner Joe Gibbs, won his first race at Bristol in April. The victory is the seventh points win this season by Joe Gibbs Racing drivers. Hamlin has four points wins, Ty Gibbs has two and Chase Briscoe has one win.
Bell has seven second-place finishes this season, including four of the past five races.
