Fernandes (11-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) looks to extend his winning streak to four. His current run stretches back to 2024 and includes wins over Mohammad Yahya, Guram Kutateladze and Harry Hardwick – the latter of which earned a Performance of the Night bonus for a first-round finish.

Turner (15-9 MMA, 8-6 UFC) made a successful return to action in December at UFC 323, where he stopped Edson Barboza. The win ended a brief retirement and a two-fight skid.

Filling out the main card for UFC 330 is a solid lightweight action fight between Jalin Turner and Kaue Fernandes.
Although Fernandes hasn’t fought under the bright lights as much as you’d expect from a 31-year-old with his background and resume, the Brazilian is a certified banger from a striking perspective.
Fernandes will need to be mindful of Turner’s kick counters and counterstrikes, but I believe that the Nova Uniao product is a live underdog in this matchup.

Don’t get me wrong: Turner is certainly the more proven fighter and deserved favorite. I just have a hard time trusting where Turner is at after a slew of inconsistent performances and a short-lived retirement.
The pick is Fernandes to break down Turner’s legs and eventually finish him on the floor in Round 2.
