The Houston Rockets have agreed to a two-way contract with guard Sean Pedulla, according to Michael Scotto. The 23-year-old guard was the NBA G League Rookie of the Year last season after averaging 23.6 points, 6.8 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.

Pedulla joins Houston after being waived by the Los Angeles Clippers, who gave him limited NBA opportunities during the 2025-26 season. He appeared in seven games and averaged 1.9 points and 0.7 assists in 4.4 minutes per game, shooting 33.3% from the field and 30.0% from three-point range.

His G League production was substantially stronger. Pedulla averaged 23.6 points while also creating 6.8 assists and collecting 5.1 rebounds per game, giving him one of the most productive all-around seasons among the league’s first-year players.

The opportunity in Houston gives Pedulla another path toward establishing himself at the NBA level. His two-way contract will allow the Rockets to evaluate him while retaining flexibility with their primary roster.

Houston is adding Pedulla after a 52-30 regular season that earned the Rockets the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference.

For Pedulla, the two-way agreement provides a new opportunity after he went from G League Rookie of the Year to limited NBA minutes with the Clippers in the same season.
