The person accused of throwing a green sex toy onto the court during Thursday’s Atlanta Dream-Los Angeles Sparks game was arrested after being caught by arena security, according to Front Office Sports.
The unidentified individual was also reportedly banned indefinitely from WNBA, NBA and other league-affiliated games and events.
Video showed the alleged thrower, wearing a No. 77 Luka Doncic Lakers jersey, attempting to leave the seating area and pushing a security guard while fleeing.
Dream star Angel Reese appeared to point out the individual from the court.
“Right there! Get him!” Reese repeatedly said, according to lip-readers.
The incident occurred while Sparks forward Jihyun Park was preparing to shoot free throws late in the third quarter.
The object landed on the court and bounced toward the Los Angeles bench before Cameron Brink kicked it away and security removed it.
It was the first such incident of the current WNBA season after several games were disrupted by similar objects in 2025.
Last year, the league said it was “working closely with local and federal law enforcement to pursue all appropriate actions – including arrest and prosecution with felony charges where applicable – against anyone engaged in this conduct or otherwise involved in sponsoring this reckless and unacceptable behavior.”
