Louis Hennessey, Tom de Glanville, Will Muir, Tom Dunn and Sam Underhill have all also undergone shoulder procedures this summer however will be available for the start of the campaign.
Long-term absentees, hooker Will Stuart and number eight Jaco Coetzee, are also expected to be available for the new season.
England international Stuart has not played since suffering an Achilles injury in December while Coetzee has been out almost entirely since April 2025, initially due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Prop Archie Griffin is expected to return “during the opening block of the 2026-27 season” the club say, after missing Wales’ four internationals this summer following surgery.
Fellow front-row Beno Obano is also still working with the club’s medical staff after picking up a hamstring injury while playing for England against South Africa and missing the games against Fiji and Argentina.
