Clemson football’s run on the recruiting trail added another piece Monday when Nicholas Pollack gave his pledge to the Tigers.
The Georgia native becomes the latest player to jump into Clemson’s 2027 class after the Tigers entered the mix over the weekend. Not long after picking up the offer, Pollack made the call for Clemson, continuing what has been an active stretch for Dabo Swinney’s staff on the trail.

At 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, Pollack brings a physical skill set and plenty of versatility. He plays tight end for North Oconee but also spends a lot of time on defense at linebacker, making him one of those players who rarely comes off the field on Friday nights. Clemson sees him as another strong addition to the offensive side of the ball and a player with room to keep developing.
Pollack also has a built-in connection to the class. He’s teammates with Clemson safety commit Harrison Luke, giving the Tigers another recruiting win out of North Oconee.
His name will sound familiar to plenty of college football fans. Pollack is the son of former Georgia All-American David Pollack, whose college career made him one of the SEC’s most recognizable defenders before he later moved into broadcasting.
He becomes Clemson’s second intight end commitment in the 2027 cycle and another addition to a class that continues to grow in a hurry.
