After an incredible four years with Iowa women’s basketball, forward Hannah Stuelke has officially begun her professional journey by signing an overseas contract with Italy’s Serie A1 side Broni.
The 6-foot-2 native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, finished her Hawkeyes career averaging 11.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game on 56.3% shooting. This past season, Stuelke averaged 13.4 points per game and led the team with 9.0 rebounds per contest.

Throughout her career, Stuelke recorded the 14th-most points (1,565) and the fifth-most (910) rebounds in school history, which makes her the fourth Hawkeye in program history to record 1,550-plus points and 900-plus rebounds.
While Stuelke did not hear her name called in the 2026 WNBA Draft this past May, there is still potential that she could find her way into the league in the future if she finds success with Broni.
In the immediate future, Broni serves as a starting point for her professional endeavors and a chance to continue playing the sport she loves.
