The latest annual reveal of the ‘NFL Top 100’ is underway, and Indianapolis Colts starting left guard Quenton Nelson once again finds himself among the league’s best players at #99–as voted on by his current peers:

The No. 6 overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft has been a Pro Bowler in each of his eight NFL seasons. However, this marks just his fourth selection to the NFL Top 100 squad and his first since 2022, when he cracked the top 30 at No. 28 — his highest career selection. Nelson garnered an 84.7 overall grade from PFF in 2025, which was fourth among 81 qualified guards. An exceptional run blocker, the three-time All-Pro helped pave the way for a Colts offense that finished in the top 10 in points and yards.
NFL Pro Insight for Nelson: Nelson had a 96.7 playtime percentage, highest on the Colts offense.
It’s worth noting that Nelson surprisingly did not make the ‘NFL Top 100’ following the 2024 season.

That being said, the 30-year-old fixture of the Colts offensive line was named an NFL 2nd-Team All-Pro for a third consecutive season and earned Pro Bowl honors for an 8th straight season this past 2025 campaign.
As the anchor of the Colts’ interior offensive line yet again, Nelson started all 17 games.
Per PFF, he earned a +84.7 overall grade, which was highlighted by a +84.5 run blocking grade. ‘Big Q and his House of Pain-cakes’ was once again instrumental in helping to pave the way for Colts star workhorse Jonathan Taylor amassing over 1,500 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns on the ground last year.
In pass protection, per PFF, he earned a +73.2 pass blocking grade. Specifically, Nelson allowed just a sack and 15 total QB pressures during his 637 total pass blocking snaps this past season.

Entering a contract year, Nelson is one of those ‘Horseshoe guys’ that appears ‘Canton-bound’ when it’s all said and done, and Indianapolis likely desires to lock him up to another lucrative long-term deal. In fact, it wouldn’t be out of the question to see them try to make him a ‘Colt for life.’
With his great technique and high football IQ, the former Colts 2018 first rounder should age rather gracefully well into his 30’s and has been an unspoken leader in their locker room with his impressive production and outstanding character.
