Derrick White already has just added another line to his already impressive basketball resume.
The Boston Celtics guard was named Colorado’s president of basketball strategy, where he will help mentor Buffaloes players and presumably help the program recruit players down the road by “inspiring future Buffaloes.”

White played his college basketball at Colorado as a senior, where he averaged over 18 points and four assists.
The Colorado native attended the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, before heading to Boulder.
Other former Colorado players are set to be in attendance for the official announcement on June 24, and White is also scheduled to do a live taping of his podcast shortly after.
In addition to the news about his new role, White and his family are also donating $2 million to the men’s basketball program.
