The Dodgers placed left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski on the injured list on Sunday, Aug. 16.
The 26-year-old is dealing with forearm inflammation. He’s produced a strong first half to the season and was named an All-Star for the first time in his career.

Wrobleski posted a 2.69 ERA over 100 1/3 innings in the first half of the season but has struggled of late. He has a 6.92 ERA with 11 home runs allowed in 26 innings pitched since the All-Star break.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was “not concerned” about Wrobleski being placed on the injured list, believing it “should be short-lived.”
“Given his workload and where he’s at, taking some of the load off his arm, I think it’s smart,” Roberts told reporters.
Tyler Glasnow is expected to be back from the injured list soon and could return to a starting role. Wrobleski might be coming out of the bullpen during the postseason if all of the Dodgers’ starting pitchers are healthy.
The Dodgers called up reliever Kyle Hurt to take Wrobleski’s place on the roster.
